Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and in support of the organization’s training functions, this position addresses the training and development needs of associates, providers and stakeholders on a variety of topics related to Management Information System (MIS) functionality and technologies, internal and external operations as required by our contract. These trainings include but are not limited to: MIS functionality, enhancements and changes and operational impacts, System of Care approach, values and principles, managed care principles and the fundamental methodologies of the integrated service delivery model, role that the organization plays with the System of Care and services available to members receiving services. The Training Specialist will also be required to create training documentations and materials. A large part of this position will be to support trainings on the functionality of the organization’s operations and MIS technologies, including but not limited to the MIS system, call center and billing technologies and others as required. In addition, this position assists in the development of communication, frequently asked questions and instructional materials that support program operations.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a learning environment preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Captivate or other training tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
