Working under the direction of the VP – Enterprise Risk Management, this position will assist in facilitating the continued development and implementation of the risk management, business continuity management, internal controls and organizational governance processes throughout AmeriHealth Caritas. This role will also provide oversight for development and maintenance of the Governance, Risk and Compliance technology platform currently being used by Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance, ERM and Internal Controls.
Lead and develop staff across multiple functions. Coordinate and align roles, responsibilities and activities as appropriate across the risk management, controls and governance functions to provide an integrated view and support model for ACFC business leadership.
Facilitate the identification, assessment and management of risks throughout ACFC. Align the qualitative aspects of ERM with the quantitative aspects of the program (under another ERM director).
Develop methodologies for the assessment, analysis and management of risks, and provide for monitoring and reporting of risk information.
Conduct risk assessments and analyses for key strategic and operational projects across the organization.
Identify and analyze industry trends and influencing factors, both positive and negative, to enhance the company’s risk management capabilities.
Provide oversight for the corporate Business Continuity Management program (this program impacts every ACFC business area and related facility, and requires ongoing collaboration with senior leadership).
Conduct ad-hoc analyses as directed by the Vice President, ERM, the senior Corporate Compliance and Risk Management Committee and/or the Operating Committee.
As needed, provide results and reporting to the Operating Committee.
15+ years of relevant experience with significant experience in the areas of enterprise risk management, business continuity management and controls. Significant level of leadership experience.
Ability to drive and manage change within and across the ERM functions and throughout ACFC.
Strong facilitation, collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to build cross-functional partnerships and to influence leadership at all levels.

Working knowledge of the healthcare industry.
