The Finance Director reports directly to the Plan Market President and indirectly reports the Vice President, Finance (Corporate Finance Department). This position is responsible for the financial management of the plan operations and monitoring and reporting on the plan performance compared to budget. The Director will work closely with local Plan management on achieving results and ensuring that appropriate financial controls are in place. The Director will engage local staff on developing administrative budgets and monitoring performance, developing cost containment initiatives and participate in development of strategic plans and reforecasts. The Finance Director will serve as the main liaison with State (District) Finance Personnel and will be involved in rate setting meetings, monthly status meetings and other contractual meetings.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field required.
CPA or MBA required.
Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible business/finance/accounting experience with at least 5 years of managed health care experience.
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
